Cybake to show retailers how to improve availability at lunch!

Cybake will be an exhibitor at the lunch! trade show for the café, coffee shop and food-to-go sectors in London in September.

We will be spotlighting two of our solutions at the popular annual event, Cybake ISB and Cybake Instore, at stand L490.

Cybake ISB is a food production planning system used by supermarkets and other large retailers to improve availability, increase sales and cut waste for in-store bakeries and fresh food counters. Users include M&S and Cooplands Bakery.

The solution tells store colleagues the best combination of products to bake or make at the right times via tablets or hand-held devices by using forecasts and live sales data.

Cybake Instore is used by food retailers that make their own products centrally to predict the stock they will need in each of their shops each day. It is relied on by bakeries throughout the UK, Ireland, the USA, and Australia to improve sales and cut waste.

Lunch! will take place at the UK capital’s ExCeL conference centre from September 18-19. The show is set to feature over 600 exhibitors with a strong emphasis on innovation, food, and, of course, technology.

There is also a strong lineup of industry panels and speakers from companies like Pret a Manger, GAIL’s, and Scotmid Cooperative.

Automated predictions

Visitors to stand CD433 will find Cybake’s global sales & marketing manager Rachel Hindle on hand to chat about how automated production predictions can seriously improve their bottom lines.

Rachel will be joined by Cybake’s latest member of the team, food and beverage expert Ali Lyons.

Ali is Cybake’s new retail partnerships director, with particular responsibility for the Cybake ISB retail food production planning system. She started out in store management at M&S and followed a 17-year career path at the company.

This included various head office roles with a focus on hospitality and led to heading up M&S Cafés. Ali then spent four years at Morrisons where she joined as part of the senior leadership team with responsibility for the supermarket chain’s cafes, staff rooms, coffee and food to go concepts.

Ali Lyons says: “Lunch! is one of my favourite events and I’m looking forward representing Cybake and meeting with food retailers who want to expand their outlets’ full potential.

“I have used the Cybake ISB solution myself to good effect and aim to spread the message that it’s relatively easy to improve sales and availability fast with adequate planning in place. It can be a quick win.”
