Three more family firms choose Cybake
August 23, 2016
Three more notable family firms are installing Cybake solutions: Maclean’s Highland Bakery, Fullers Bakery and Julia’s Cakes.
Maclean’s Highland Bakery is a fourth generation business that sells its famous shortbread, oatcakes and biscuits around the world. Originally from the Western Isles, the company is headquartered in Forres, centrally located between the Highland, Speyside and Grampian regions of Scotland within which it also operates a chain of five bakery and coffee shops.
Heather and George Fuller of Fullers Bakery are well-known across the industry for their great work for the Craft Bakers’ Association. For example, they are the genial hosts of the annual CBA Yorkshire Region annual dinner dance which is a firm fixture of the Cybake team’s social calendar. Headquartered in Goole, the Fullers run eight shops around the East Riding region as well as a sizeable wholesale operation.
Julia’s Cakes is a mother/daughter-run business in the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. Twenty years ago, Julia Godfrey was persuaded that her creations were good enough for the commercial market. Now, Julia and her daughter Cheryl run a successful wholesale business selling their trademark sponge/loaf cakes, swill rolls, tarts throughout the UK.
Like many of our customers, RedBlack Software is an independent, family-run firm, so a very warm welcome goes out to all three of our new cybakers.
