Ali Lyons to speak at London event for food-to-go specialists
January 8, 2025
Cybake’s retail partnerships director Ali Lyons will be a speaker at an exclusive event for food-to-go specialists in the City of London next week.
The Food to Go Networking Breakfast will be held at The Libertine restaurant, Royal Exchange, on January 14, between 9.30 and 11.30 am.
The event is the latest in an increasingly popular series organised by food retail consultants and commentators Gavin Rothwell and Matt Cundrick that bring together professionals across the FTG sector to share perspectives and new ideas.
Ali, who headed up food divisions at both M&S and Morrisons before joining Cybake, will present a short session about improving product freshness and availability. Both are key differentiators in a vibrant but tough market.
Making particular reference to our recently published white paper Making the Move to a Digital Production Planning Tool, Ali will explain how, with the right system in place, food-to-go operators can sell fresher, better quality offerings at the times their customers want them. And, in doing so, how sales are increased while waste is reduced.
While the full speaker line up is still to be announced, attendees are promised sessions on macro factors impacting the food to go market and what they mean; how innovators are setting themselves up for more efficient operations; the concepts in cuisines that will win in 2025; and how to futureproof and evolve your proposition.
Be warned. Demand for these events is always high. To reserve your place, email Gavin Rothwell at Food Futures Insights at gavin<at>foodfuturesinsights.com.
