Cybake operations director moves to North American division

Cybake operations director Martin Coyle has relocated to Boulder, Colorado, to lead our team in the USA.
Cybake was established as the UK’s leading bakery management solution before opening for business in Philadelphia in October, 2020.
Despite launching during the height of the pandemic, Cybake is now used by bakeries in the majority of states (and four provinces of Canada) to manage their orders, production, recipes, deliveries and more.
Martin joined Cybake in 2009 as a sales manager and was appointed as a company director in 2012. He has been our operations director since 2018, working closely with our larger customers and overseeing the technical development of our software.
As well as helping to spread the adoption of our flagship Cybake solution for commercial bakeries, Martin will also have a particular responsibility for Cybake ISB, our separate in-store production planning tool for retailers that make food in-store.
Cybake ISB is used by supermarkets and other large retailers to improve availability, increase sales and cut waste for in-store bakeries and fresh food counters. The solution tells in-store bakery colleagues the best combination of products to bake or make at the right times via tablets or hand-held devices by using forecasts and live sales data.
In the UK, it is used by companies such as supermarket and convenience store chain M&S and the country’s second largest bakery retailer, Cooplands Bakery.
Commenting on his relocation, which will be for twelve months, Martin Coyle says: “We are currently in the process of implementing our first rollout of Cybake ISB in the USA. We will also soon announce new features for our main Cybake offering. These new features were developed at the request of bakeries in the States, so the timing for my move couldn’t be better.”
