Cybake to make debut appearance at IDDBA Expo
Cybake Bakery Software will make its debut appearance at the International Dairy, Deli and Bakery Association (IDDBA) Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA, from June 4-6, 2023.
Visitors to the IDDBA show will find Cybake at booth #2588 in the Visionary Pavilion where they will be able to chat with pro bakers Oprah Davidson and Luke Karl from Cybake USA as well as Cybake director Martin Coyle and business development manager Rachel Hindle from Cybake UK.
Our transatlantic team of baking industry experts is at the IDDBA show to focus on two specific solutions, Cybake’s sales-based store forecasting and ordering module and Cybake ISB for in-store retail bakeries.
Cybake ISB (pictured, below) is our unique production planning and management system for supermarkets, convenience stores and other retailers that improves availability, increases sales, and cuts waste in their in-store bakeries. Most-famously used by M&S in the UK, Cybake introduced Cybake ISB to the American market in 2023 at the IBIE expo in Las Vegas.
Cybake ISB is a completely separate product from the company’s flagship Cybake bakery management software. Cybake itself is relied on by retail and wholesale craft bakers of all types and sizes to automate everything from orders to invoicing, recipes, production sheets, shop management, waste control, deliveries and more. Cybake is used by bakeries in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the UK.
Cybake’s sales-based shop forecasting module will be of particular interest to any food retailer that operates a chain of stores in which their own baked goods make up a large part of their offering.
Over half of our retail users use this feature of Cybake, which analyzes historical sales data from their POS tills and/or calculated sales figures. The software then makes automated forecast orders for each store that are far more accurate than those by their shop managers and feeds them straight through to production at their bakeries.
By getting the right goods on sale at the right times in the right outlets, sales are optimized each day. Typically, Cybake’s predictions increase turnover per store by 4% while cutting waste by around 20%, thus increasing profits.
State of flux
Speaking about the expo and what to expect, IDDBA VP of marketing, Whitney Atkins, says: “I think this year is going to be really exciting. Cybake is in the Visionary Pavilion, which is an area that we started doing just a few years ago. It’s a great area for first- and second-year exhibitors, especially in today’s marketplace, because retailers, exhibitors and other manufacturers are looking for that technology to make it easier, especially coming out of two years of where everything was in a state of flux.”
Cybake USA business representative, Luke Karl, says: “I’m excited to put Cybake out there in the spotlight at IDDBA and bring this product to the market and make more people aware of it. I think there’s a lot of businesses out there that could truly benefit from our solutions.”
When asked about Cybake ISB for supermarkets and convenience stores, Luke says: “Cybake ISB is a good, solid software program that can do so many things for you. If you can see the value in it and what it can bring to your business, then, absolutely, you should go for it. It makes your business more efficient and your life more efficient.”
