Get Cybake for two months free at Foodex 2020

Shows Cybake bakery software family

Going to this year’s Foodex at the NEC? If so, make sure you visit the Cybake stand (V218). We’re offering bakers two months use of our bakery management software for free.

Here’s how it works: come to see us on any day of show and, because we’re not into all that hard-sell stuff, we’ll give you a voucher. Should you decide to sign up for Cybake within six months of the event, you can use your voucher to claim your two fee-free months.

At the last UK Foodex in 2018, we launched Cybake 4, the cloud-based version of our system. This marked our final shift away from on-premise delivery to a pure SaaS architecture. We also won Foodex 2018’s Great New Idea Award for our sister solution BakePlan which handles retail production for large grocers such as M&S.

Since then, Cybake-on-the-cloud has been a phenomenal success. Craft bakeries that are taking the step up from paper systems or are retiring legacy software join the ever-growing cohort of Cybake subscribers every month.

This year, we’ll be showing off a bunch of new functions within Cybake including a new basket tracking feature that’s already saving our users money and a unique way for wholesalers to handle sale-or-return stock. We also expect more than a few conversations about how we can help retailers comply with Natasha’s Law.

Cybake product specialist Andrew Throup and our implementations guru Martin Coyle will be on hand to talk all things baking-related. Between them, they have over 30 years’ experience in making bakeries more efficient, cutting waste and driving sales with our technology.

Martin, by the way, is the absolute master of smooth, hassle-free migrations away from out-of-date legacy systems. If you’ve got any worries about dumping your current “Old Smokey” on-premise software, he’s your man.

Bazaar-like

By the way, if you are in the baking business and you’ve never checked out Foodex before then my advice is to just go. It’s only on once every two years, it’s free, and your chances of getting bored are absolutely zero; you’ll spend the first part of your visit walking around in sheer amazement at the sheer scale of it all. If you need proof of the strength, vibrancy and variety of the UK food sector, then this is the place to be.

Some sections of the event get so busy that they take on a bazaar-like quality as visitors are assailed by the sight and smells of seemingly every imaginable foodstuff on the planet. And the baking sector is well represented. You’ll find yourself rubbing shoulders with or listening to talks by just about every baking industry celebrity you’ve ever heard of.

It is unlikely that you will leave Foodex short on new ideas. The selection of innovations at the technical stands, for example, are never less than impressive. From ovens to scales to wrapping machines, there are literally tons of serious cutting-edge machinery on display.

Away from the hardware, the show’s software providers are always on-point too. As well as loads of niche vendors, there will be the usual large food ERP people. But it is noticeable that, at the time of writing, Cybake will be the only specialist bakery management system on display.

Maybe it’s a sign of the times. Perhaps the old-school, on-premise outfits are staying home. Either way, we’ll be there in full effect to meet Cybakers old and new.

Foodex 2020 runs from March 30 to April 1 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre. Admission is free to all trade participants in the food industry. Cybake will be at stand V218.
