Cybake gears up for Australia’s Baking Industry Trade Show

We’re super-excited to be an exhibitor at Australia’s Baking Industry Trade Show next week.

It’s the second year we have appeared at this major event, which takes place at the Moonee Valley Racecourse, Melbourne, from June 18–20.

To say that the show’s organisers have scheduled a jam-packed three days would be an understatement. The Baking Industry Trade Show features the finals of five national baking competitions as well as demonstrations, workshops and social events.

The Cybake Australia team will be manning our stand, along with our brand ambassador, Shaun Pyne, more famously known as Pyney the Pie Man.

Pyney has become something of a celebrity due to his ongoing mission to visit every bakery/café across Australia and review the meat pie made by each one. You can catch his travels on his website.

The Pie Man has been to meet some Cybake bakery software users in his recent adventures. Back in April, he worked with local TV station ABC Canberra to weigh up over 17 bakeries in order to find out which one made the best Aussie meat pie in the city.

The eventual winner was Cedar Husk Bakery and Café in suburban Fishwick, which recently signed up to our software to manage its operations. Other Cybake users Pyney has reviewed of late include Evoke Bakery (pictured, above), also in Canberra, and The Bread Social in Byron Bay.

Cybake has grown quickly in Australia since its launch in the country in 2022. More retail and wholesale bakeries implement the software every month in order to manage their orders, production and deliveries – and everything in between.

Some need to replace old bakery management software applications with a modern, cloud-based, mobile system that they can use anywhere. Often, their software’s original creators have either sold up, retired, or otherwise moved on.

Others are completely new to the idea of letting a system manage their operations for them. What they know is that they spend far too much time on admin, paperwork and spreadsheets as they juggle recipes with purchasing, production sheets with order-taking, and credit notes with invoices.

If either of these situations sounds familiar to you, and you are coming to the Baking Industry Trade Show, why not pay us a visit on our stand? Whatever the size or scope of your bakery, you can be confident that we will understand your business and will be able to meet its needs.

Plus, in keeping the with spirit of the show, we will also be holding our own competition. Visit the Cybake stand to find out how you could be the happy winner of a state-of-the-art Kick Ass Travel Oven!
