Cybake team to host memorial charity walk in honour of beloved colleague Clive Carlyon

Cybake has organised a special charity walk in memory of our esteemed colleague and friend, Clive Carlyon, who sadly passed away in May.
Clive, a senior software developer, was a cherished member of the Cybake team. His remarkable kindness and his profound bond with his Bernese Mountain Dog, Brian, inspired this heartfelt event designed to celebrate his life and further a cause dear to his heart.
The Cybake Charity Walk will take place on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, between 4:00pm to 5:00pm GMT. The 5k route will run through York City Centre for our UK team, while our US colleagues will join in simultaneously with a 5k walk in Denver, Colorado.
The walk will benefit Dogs Trust, a leading UK charity dedicated to the rescue, care, and rehoming of dogs. All proceeds will support initiatives that Clive passionately believed in, helping dogs find loving homes and live healthy lives.
Ali Lyons, CEO of Cybake says: “Clive’s love for his Bernese Mountain Dog and his devotion to animals in general was well known across Cybake. This walk is more than fundraising: it is a moving tribute to a person whose gentle generosity and joyful presence touched so many.
“With both our UK and US teams walking side-by-side across continents, the event will be a shared moment of remembrance that connects Cybake colleagues around the world.”
