Meet Cybake at the CBA’s Business Day in London

Cybake will be an exhibitor at the Craft Bakers Association’s Business Day in London next month.
The conference and dinner takes place at the Wembley Hilton (pictured, above) on Wednesday, June 5th. We will be one of an impressive 40 companies on show. Plus, the event’s organisers have organised a jam-packed line-up of speakers.
Interestingly, these include two sessions by speakers from firms that use Cybake software.
Bread Ahead’s Matthew Jones will deliver a post-lunch session on his journey since founding the acclaimed bakery and school in London’s Borough Market ten years ago.
Craft Bakers Association (CBA) director Daniel Carr, from Reading’s Warings Bakery, is one of four speakers presenting a masterclass on the day. In Daniel’s case, his subject, “Artificial intelligence – your secret ingredient for success”, will cover an area that is very close to our hearts.
There are also masterclasses on icing, finishing and decorating, fire security, apprenticeships, and health and safety.
Other speakers include CBA directors John Lamper, bakery specialist for Tesco, and Caroline Grant, Biscuiteers production director, who will present a session on sustainability. Connect Yorkshire’s Michael Bridge will also talk about business growth.
On top of all that, the CBA has invited members to submit entries to eight competition categories for the show, culminating in an overall Champion Baker award. The day will be topped off by dinner and drinks.
