Come and see Cybake in action at CBA Business Day 2026
August 20, 2026
There’s nothing quite like getting the bakery industry together in one room and that’s why the Craft Bakers Association Business Day is a firm fixture in our calendar year after year.
This year’s Business Day takes place on Wednesday 16th September at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham, and we’re really looking forward to being back.
It’s always a great day, but for us, the best part is getting to spend time with our customers, reconnect with familiar faces and meet new people from across the industry.
Rachel Hindle and Andrew Throup will be on the Cybake stand this year, ready to talk all things bakery. They’ll also be joined by Ali Lyons, our CEO, who’ll be attending her first CBA Business Day. She’s particularly looking forward to getting to know more of our customers personally, hearing about their businesses and understanding what matters to them.
And, of course, we’ll have a couple of useful Cybake features for you to see in action too.
We’ll be demonstrating Cybake’s forecasting and production planning, helping bakeries make smarter decisions about what to produce and where. For retail bakeries producing centrally, Cybake uses sales data to forecast demand and suggest store orders, helping keep shops well stocked, capture more sales and reduce food waste. These orders can then feed directly into production plans for the central bakery, helping teams plan production around what each shop needs.
We will also be showing in-store production planning for bakeries and food-to-go retailers making fresh products such as sandwiches, savouries and grab-and-go lines in their shops. Cybake automatically forecasts demand and creates production plans for each store, showing teams what to make, how much and when, and updates them throughout the day as sales come in.
Whether production happens centrally or in-store, these two Cybake modules can help deliver better availability, less guesswork and less food waste. If you’re already using Cybake but haven’t explored them yet, stop by and see what they could do for your stores.
And lastly, we will also be demonstrating Cybake’s lot tracking and traceability, showing how bakeries can keep track of ingredients from the moment they arrive, through production and into finished products.
With a clear record of what went where, Cybake makes it easier to maintain traceability across your bakery and quickly identify affected products and customers should a recall ever be needed.
Whether you already use Cybake and want to discover more of what’s available, fancy saying hello to the team, or you’re completely new to us and curious about what we could do for your business, Ali, Andrew and Rachel would love to see you on the stand. They’ll be happy to talk through what’s new, show you Cybake in action and answer any questions or simply have a good bakery catch-up.
We’re looking forward to seeing you in Birmingham!
