Cybake to attend the Scottish Baker of the Year Awards 2026

Cybake will be attending the Scottish Baker of the Year Awards 2026, taking place on Saturday 16th May at the Hilton Glasgow.
There are bakery events and then there’s the Scottish Baker of the Year Awards. Every year, the event brings together Scotland’s baking industry for a full day of networking, celebrations and seriously impressive baking, finishing with the crowning of the Ultimate Scottish Baker of the Year at the evening gala dinner hosted by broadcaster Edith Bowman
We’re especially excited to see so many Cybake users shortlisted and recognised throughout the awards programme, including Company Bakery, Fisher & Donaldson, Harry Gow, Keptie Bakery, Linzer Bakery, Maclean’s Highland Bakery, Murdoch Allan, T A Francis, The Bread Guy and The Three Little Bakers. Best of luck to everyone taking part, we’ll definitely be cheering you on throughout the evening.
Rachel Hindle and Andrew Throup will be at the event throughout the day, giving bakers a closer look at the different Cybake modules designed to support bakeries of all sizes, from wholesale ordering and production planning to deliveries, traceability and retail operations.
We’ll also be showcasing Cybake’s lot tracking and traceability tools, including ingredient goods-in, internal lot code generation and barcode scanning technology, giving visitors the chance to see how bakeries can improve visibility and traceability throughout the production process.
Spotlight Series
In the run up to the awards, we’ve also been running a three-part Scottish bakery spotlight series, highlighting some of the brilliant bakeries across Scotland using Cybake to support growth and day-to-day operations.
The series features Maclean’s Highland Bakery, Murdoch Allan and The Bread Winner. Maclean’s Highland Bakery shares how they’ve been using Cybake since 2016 to manage recipe costing, production planning and wholesale orders, while Managing Director Lewis Maclean talks about how the system supports the business behind the scenes. Murdoch Allan discusses how Cybake helps streamline wholesale and retail operations using sales order processing, EDI, drivers and traceability tools, while The Bread Winner talks about improving production management, ordering processes and overall bakery efficiency.
